Dr. Marc DeLara lives in Keller with his wife. He enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, bowling, camping, and fishing. Dr. DeLara was been born and raised in Miami, Florida
Marc J DeLara, DPM Physician & Surgeon of the Foot & Ankle
- Undergraduate degree in Biology from Florida International University, graduating with The Most Distinguished Scholar Award.
- Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Received an academic scholarship and served as a designated student leader.
- Completed a surgical, clinical, and research preceptorship at the renowned Weil Foot and Ankle Center in Des Plaines, Illinois.
- Postgraduate training at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte, Michigan. During his residency, he received advance training in reconstructive forefoot, rear-foot, and ankle surgery. He served as Chief Resident during his final year of residency, and completed research that has been presented at the state and national level. He volunteered regularly at the community’s underinsured clinic. Dr. Marc DeLara received the Michigan's Downriver Community Volunteer Award, named the Giving Hearts Award, for his service and dedication to this cause.
